Nautical Map Wallpaper Understanding Cropping

All original charts have fixed borders. It seams like an obvious statement but in todays world we are quite used to looking at maps digitally without any edges or content restrictions. The chances that your wall is the same size and shape as the original chart is pretty much next to impossible. A tall vertical wall using a wide horizontal chart will require us to increase the height dramatically in order to fill the space, which will crop quite a bit of area from each side. It is important that we know specifically what geography you are looking for, right down to the address. The images above are just a couple samples to try and show what happens. The red boxes are the clients wall area. The first images are showing the original chart within that area, the next is showing the final layout. I hope this helps!! !!
